Orion Labs is located in Steel Canyon, and generally their stock-in-trade is not the realm of genetics so much as the realm of potential
mutagens. As such they are more of a supplier than a consumer of our products, and in return we keep all of their transactions off the books. The
Freedom Corps has been nosing around their shipping records, so we've done our best to misdirect them. This, of course, involves infected monkeys. |
Subgenetics, or as they are known around here, Substandard of Steel Canyon. They push many of our products produced under a generic label
in addition to pushing veterinary grade medications. They have been warned numerous times to cease and desist, they have been shown
through audits to have no researchers on staff (take a look in their offices; not a computer or bit of lab equipment to be seen: just
shelves of chemicals) and no biomedical equipment. Originated as a pest control service that branched into bulk
insecticides, according to our sources. Again, since the lawyers have done no good we will have to resort to infected monkeys. |
Biotechnix is a reputable firm located in Talos, and they at least properly license their products and
displays, if they do demand diproportionate discounts. As they operate intimately with Paragon City and have a
Freedom Corps training station in their region as well they exact a heavy toll for business outlets in this region, and
have repeatedly warned us against competing with our own bulk low-cost outlet in the region. Street vendor sales, though,
have been brisk; and we intend to expand our "contacts" program that currently operates for our customers in high-risk
areas into other low-risk neighborhoods. |
Deimos innovations is another lab firm, located in Talos, and one from which we draw the bulk of our mutagens. They do not necessarily
know that they have a business relationship with us, or if they do would like to retain the appearance of ignorance. They
have stopped doing business with Crey, and so our business with them has taken off and comprises a large portion of
their revenue. Just don't mention "infected monkeys" around them; they don't want to know what their product goes into. |
| The game and associated terms
referenced often in this site, both through character and organization names (Arachnos, Lord Recluse, Paragon City, The Rogue Isles,
Shivans, the Council and so on) are all proprietary content of NCSoft through their product City of Villians, a massively-multiplayer online game designed around the supervillain genre,
a follow-up and tie-in with the City of Heroes product. The remainder of the content is original, and is ficitonal material
with some fact embedded; much like a network news report. There is, unfortunately, no real Arachnos Mutagenics corporation, so please
do not forward any more resumes, as any job listings on here are also fictitious.
